Exeter Township gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Daniel Boone Blazers 64-7. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Exeter Township to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leomar Brown, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Brown showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 62 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Riley Martinez, who threw for 100 yards and three TDs.
Exeter Township didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jayden Ware, Jake Franek, and Jaxon Waltman picked up one apiece. Ware got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
