Turlock is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Enochs is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bulldogs will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Turlock made easy work of Downey and carried off a 14-2 win. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Audrey Bailey made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Turlock got a massive performance out of Jaysee Rubio, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Cadee Campbell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Turlock hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Enochs won against Pitman on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against Gregori by a score of 10-6.
Kaylee Ruiz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, Enochs let Nico Gwin and Daniella Barba run wild. Gwin went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double, while Barba scored four runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those four runs gave Barba a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillian Camarena, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Enochs' win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Turlock, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Turlock has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Enochs struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Turlock came up short against Enochs in their previous meeting back in March, falling 17-13. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
