For the second straight game, Arroyo Valley will face off against Fontana. The Hawks will challenge the Steelers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Arroyo Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Arroyo Valley proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 16) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Fontana 9-7. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Steelers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Miguel Acosta made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Acosta was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carlos Perez, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Fontana's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Arroyo Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
