Strathmore is 1-8-1 against Granite Hills since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Strathmore Spartans will head out on the road to take on the Granite Hills Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Strathmore's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Corcoran by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, after a 4-4 finish the last time they played, Granite Hills and Lindsay decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.
Strathmore's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-5. Granite Hills' draw gives them a new season record of 13-8-5.
Strathmore skirted past Granite Hills 1-0 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Strathmore since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
