It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Nooksack Valley Pioneers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed by Cascade Christian at home to the tune of 59-7. Considering Nooksack Valley has won seven contests by more than 29 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Nooksack Valley, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Cascade Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Nooksack Valley will square off against Lynden Christian at TBD on Saturday. Lynden Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 178 points over their last four matches. Cascade Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
