Owen Tackett posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended two passes.
Norwood pushed their record up to 3-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Tackett and Norwood are taking a road trip to face off against Mancos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brycen Rummel posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Rummel has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 166.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 40.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 75.14 rushing yards.

Brandon Vannest's big game helped extend Mancos's winning streak to six on Friday. Vannest made a major impact, rushing for 149 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101.1) per game. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
