Milford Christian was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 32-31 to Hillsboro Christian Academy. That's two games in a row now that Milford Christian has lost by exactly a single point.
Lisa Vanzant was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 18 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Milford Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Hillsboro Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Milford Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Dayton Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th. As for Hillsboro Christian Academy, they will face off against Ross County Christian Academy at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
