East Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 38-31 to the Bard Early College Raptors. One positive for the Scarabs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the loss, East Tech still got an impressive performance from Lanijah Carraway, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Those 21 points gave Carraway a new career-high.
Even though they lost, East Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
East Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Bard Early College, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
