Wyatt Schmitz Game Report: vs Sentinel

Wyatt Schmitz gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Fairview is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 2-9 otherwise.

Coming up, Schmitz and Fairview will square off against Thomas-Fay-Custer at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Yellowjackets will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 136 places lower in Oklahoma), but they're not letting that get them down.
