Millburn faced Verona in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Millers fell 2-0 to the Hillbillies. The Millers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Millburn was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 17 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

Sydney Grani paced Millburn's offense, picking up six kills. Grani got some help from Franna Hawksworth and her 12 assists. Emma Krupkin controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
