The Carver Challengers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 42-16 margin over Little Village. Carver might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 26 points or more this season.
Astarte Washington continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Carver's points.
Carver's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Despite that those victories, the team's offense hasn't been rolling: across that stretch, they only averaged 26.5 points per game. As for Little Village, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Coincidentally, Carver and Little Village will both be playing Corliss the next time they take the court. Carver will head out to face Corliss at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Little Village will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
