Moore County put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Forrest 35-10.
Dawson White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 75 yards and two touchdowns. White is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Logan Hegwood was in the mix too, providing Moore County with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Richland fell victim to Eagleville's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Eagles 33-0. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Moore County's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.78 points. As for Richland, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Moore County against Richland in their previous matchup back in October of 2020 as the team secured a 35-7 win. Will Moore County repeat their success, or does Richland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
