There's no place like home for Simsbury, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the East Hartford Hornets 42-28 on Friday. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Isaiah Tripp and Anthony Caravallo certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Tripp picked up 135 receiving yards and two scores, while Caravallo threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes.

Simsbury's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for East Hartford, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Simsbury and East Hartford will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Trojans see the field they'll take on Platt at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for East Hartford, their break will end when they face Enfield at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
