Several Storm players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evelyn Juden , who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Juden is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Valeria Martinez, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Windermere Prep pushed their record up to 4-3 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.89 points. As for Celebration, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windermere Prep will take on Bishop Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Moore presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Windermere Prep in Florida (Bishop Moore is ranked 109th, while Windermere Prep is ranked 261st). As for Celebration, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
