South Pontotoc entered their tilt with North Pontotoc on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went their way against the North Pontotoc Vikings as they made off with a 51-31 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

South Pontotoc has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for North Pontotoc, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Pontotoc will venture away from home to take on Senatobia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Senatobia will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something South Pontotoc surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Pontotoc, they will head out on the road to square off against Bruce at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
