St. Joseph has gone a perfect 9-0 against Wilton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cadets will host the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. St. Joseph is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, St. Joseph made easy work of Westhill and carried off a 13-1 victory. The Cadets haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

St. Joseph got a great performance from Adyson Magliocco as she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Magliocco has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Molly Kery was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Kelsey Flanagan was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
St. Joseph kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.
Ridgefield hit Wilton with a four-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-2. The Warriors have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Annie McMahon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Emma Van Heyst, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
Wilton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for St. Joseph, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
Everything went St. Joseph's way against Wilton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as St. Joseph made off with a 7-1 win. Will the Cadets repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
