Kings Christian will challenge Desert on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close game.
Last Thursday, Kings Christian received a tough blow as they fell 27-44 to Anzar. Kings Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Julien Pierce, who rushed for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 9 tackles Pierce was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Desert took a serious blow against Villanova Prep, falling 0-61.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
