The North Allegheny Tigers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 48-14 win over Penn-Trafford. The result was nothing new for North Allegheny, who have now won eight contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Tyre? Alualu had a dynamite game for North Allegheny, rushing for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. Alualu was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Logan Kushner also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
North Allegheny's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Penn-Trafford, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Allegheny is on the road again on Friday and play against Seneca Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Seneca Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 88th, while North Allegheny is ranked ninth). As for Penn-Trafford, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Kyle Dupill and Tasso Whipple.
