Despite the defeat, Deep Run had strong showings from Chris Suber, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Kemji Onyiuke, who scored nine points.
Deep Run struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Freeman also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Godwin by a score of 56-46. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Freeman in their matchups with Godwin: they've now lost three in a row.

Deep Run came out on top in a nail-biter against Freeman in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 63-60. Will Deep Run repeat their success, or does Freeman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
