2B Southeast recap Oct. 30, 2012
Waitsburg/Prescott extended the longest winning streak in 2B Southeast this week by beating Tri-Cities Prep, 34-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Waitsburg/Prescott's Sterling Eastman and Dalton Estes have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Eastman has thrown for 1409 yards this season, while Estes, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 32 catches for 563 yards. Craig Nelson from Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia leads the league in rushing with 1004 yards.
Dayton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,300 from 13,356. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 39-0 victory over Mabton last week.
