The Lincoln High Links can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They snuck past Fremont with a 64-59 victory. The victory was just what Lincoln High needed coming off of a 78-50 defeat in their prior match.
Lincoln High found their leader in underclassman Brady Nick, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Carson Salsman was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds.
Lincoln High's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Fremont, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln High will take on Millard South at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fremont, they will be playing at home against Lincoln Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
