Grayslake Central is a perfect 5-0 against Round Lake since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Grayslake Central will be strutting in after a win while Round Lake will be coming in after a loss.

Grayslake Central's tournament run continued when they took on Proviso West on Saturday. The Rams came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Grayslake Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Round Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grant Community.

Round Lake may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17.

Grayslake Central's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Round Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-23.

Grayslake Central beat Round Lake 2-0 in their previous meeting on April 3rd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
