The Hawkinsville Red Devils were the 74-61 winner over the Dooly County Bobcats when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Hawkinsville took a hard 73-54 fall against Dooly County on Saturday.
Hawkinsville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nelson Singletary, who scored 17 points, and Darius Anderson who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Harlem Phillips, who scored nine points.
Hawkinsville has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Dooly County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.
Hawkinsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dooly County also has no future games currently scheduled.
