Basketball Recap: Bosque Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Bosque won the last time they faced Cottonwood Classical Prep, and Josiah Wilson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bosque Bobcats strolled past the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 66-47 thanks in part to Wilson, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 24 points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game.

Oliver Tumolo was another key player, putting up 12 points along with eight boards and six steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Bosque has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.

Bosque will be playing in front of their home fans against Rehoboth Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bosque is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Fe Prep at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
