Pomona lost against Littleton on October 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. The Panthers took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions  25-20 in the first  set.
 Pomona started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 26-24,  25-21.
 Macy Stemple paced Pomona's offense, picking up 12 kills. Stemple got some help from  Aleyah Pruitt and her 30 assists. Pruitt was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
 Littleton can attribute much of their success to  Addy Giles, who  had 23  digs. Those  23  digs gave  Giles a new career-high.
Pomona's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Littleton,  the  victory  got them back to even at 11-11.
 Coming up, Pomona is taking a road trip to  face off against D'Evelyn  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Littleton, they will take on Wheat Ridge at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Farmers at the right time seeing as the Farmers are stuck on  an  11-game losing streak.
