Tampa Bay Tech hasn't had much luck against Sickles recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Tampa Bay Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Sickles at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Tampa Bay Tech took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Middleton as Tampa Bay Tech made off with a 19-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jaida T was incredible, firing off three home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last four times she's played. Alanis B was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Tampa Bay Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .760. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Sickles fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Strawberry Crest on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 20-14.
Kalyssa Austin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Taylor Morrissey, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Tampa Bay Tech pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to strikeouts: they averaged an imposing 6.75 strikeouts in those games compared to only 3.4 in the others. As for Sickles, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Tampa Bay Tech has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Sickles struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Tampa Bay Tech might still be hurting after the 11-3 loss they got from Sickles in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Can Tampa Bay Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
