The Mobile Christian Leopards will head out on the road to face off against the Gulf Shores Dolphins at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mobile Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
On Saturday, Mobile Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away Foley. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lions 6-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Leopards as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Ethan McLarty looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aiden Gaston, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Kayden Helton was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-6.
Meanwhile, Gulf Shores entered their tilt with Mortimer Jordan on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Blue Devils.
Jacob O'Bryan was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Gulf Shores: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 6-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Price Stephens, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Gulf Shores was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .393 or higher in three consecutive games.
Mobile Christian's record now sits at 5-13. As for Gulf Shores, their record is now 11-8.
Mobile Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Gulf Shores in their previous meeting on March 4th, winning 17-13. Does Mobile Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gulf Shores turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
