Rylee Villasanor and Jenna Cancienne made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Villasanor pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Cancienne tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. At bat, Villasanor fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-3, while Cancienne got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one double. That's the most hits Villasanor has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Hahnville got a massive performance out of Jordyn Chaix, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Amberly Dempster, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
Hahnville's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Mt. Carmel, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
