Lausanne Collegiate waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Crockett County Cavaliers. The Lynx might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Lausanne Collegiate pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Crockett County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lausanne Collegiate will challenge Memphis University School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lynx are facing the Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Crockett County, they will square off against Dyersburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
