Given Worth County's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Rebels are ranked 461st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Worth County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but NIKENDRICK BROWN led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points BROWN has scored all season. ASHTON WILLIAMS was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with two steals.
Worth County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Atkinson County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dodge County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 599 points over their last eight games.
