Lakewood won the last time they faced Lower Richland and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Gators were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Diamond Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won six contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lakewood and bumps their season record up to 6-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Lower Richland, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coming up, Lakewood will take on Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lower Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
