The Fallston Cougars will be playing at home against the Havre de Grace Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Fallston unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 43-36 to Patterson Mill.
Despite the defeat, Fallston got a solid performance out of Ayla Galloway, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Galloway is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Natalie Wirth, who scored three points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Havre de Grace suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 59-29 loss at the hands of Edgewood. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Havre de Grace has suffered against Edgewood since January 26, 2017.
Fallston's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3. As for Havre de Grace, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Fallston strolled past Havre de Grace in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 48-33. Will Fallston repeat their success, or does Havre de Grace have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
