The Del Norte Knights were the 48-24 winner over the Bosque Bobcats when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Del Norte took a 37-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bosque. Del Norte has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Destiny Perez and Teriya Martin certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Perez scored 16 points, while Martin scored 16 points.
Del Norte now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Bosque, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Del Norte has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Sandia Prep at 1:30 p.m. on December 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Sandia Prep is ranked 25th, while Del Norte is ranked 30th). As for Bosque, they will head out on the road to face off against Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
