If the Lindbergh Eagles were feeling good off their 46-24 takedown of the Jefferson Raiders last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lindbergh was the victim of a rough 50-26 defeat at the hands of Foster on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Lindbergh has suffered against Foster since January 28, 2022.
Foster was led to victory by Ariyana Deloney and Mia Pittman. Deloney scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Pittman dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals. Pittman is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Lindbergh's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Foster, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lindbergh will take on Fife at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Foster, they will be playing at home against Tyee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tyee is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
