Brison Abbott Goes Supernova in Bakersfield Victory
Bakersfield picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brison Abbott. Abbott turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Highland had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Abbott it was a similar story. When Abbott last faced the Scots back in October of 2023, he rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry.

Cavazos Came Up Big in Bakersfield's 55-14 Win
Elijah Cavazos's big game helped extend Bakersfield's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Cavazos as he threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
This season, Cavazos has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 169.2 passing yards per game.
