The Seneca Fighting Irish will be home for the holidays to greet the Serena Huskers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Seneca beat Dwight 39-26. The victory was just what Seneca needed coming off of a 58-29 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Serena put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 46-38 victory over Putnam County.
The win got Seneca back to even at 6-6. As for Serena, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Seneca might still be hurting after the 49-27 defeat they got from Serena when the teams last played back in November. Can Seneca avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
