The El Dorado Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Saturday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Trinity Academy, falling  74-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat El Dorado has suffered  yet this season.
 Despite the loss, El Dorado still got an impressive performance from   Logan Garner, who  scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dillon Scott, who  scored four points along with two  steals.
 El Dorado bumped their record down to 1-9 with that  loss, which was their 16th straight  at home. As for Trinity Academy, their win  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Dorado and Augusta will face off  at 7:30  p.m.  on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Augusta presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Dorado in Kansas (Augusta is ranked 136th, while El Dorado is ranked 279th). As for Trinity Academy, Trinity Academy and Dodge City will face off  at 7:30  p.m.  on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
