 Meanwhile, West was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight  defeat. They were beaten by South 71-23. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 1321st, while the Spartans are ranked 385th).
 West's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Foothill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
