Northwest came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Hastings Tigers as they made off with a 5-0 win. Northwest might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Hastings with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Guadalupe Sanchez (2), Leah Carlson, Evelyn Poland, and Evie Keller.

Northwest pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three contests. As for Hastings, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
