For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Long Island City and Maspeth have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 21-9 margin over the Argos. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Long Island City's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Maspeth, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Long Island City will square off against Bryant at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maspeth, they will face off against The Baccalaureate School for Global Education at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sting will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Argos surely won't give up without a fight.
