Robertson waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Espanola Valley Sundevils 14-6. Considering the Cardinals have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Elijah Ortiz was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Robertson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-3 otherwise.

Robertson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Robertson's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Espanola Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Robertson will be playing in front of their home fans against Texico at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Espanola Valley, they will head out to face off against Santa Fe at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
