Crown Point was dealt a 84-51 defeat at the hands of Plattsburgh on Saturday. Crown Point was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-19.
Crown Point's loss came despite strong showings from Reese Pertak and Trevor Harris. Pertak scored 25 points along with five assists and three steals, while Harris dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Harris is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Matt Beeman was another key contributor, scoring two points along with six rebounds and six blocks.
Crown Point's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Plattsburgh, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
Crown Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-53 loss vs. Boquet Valley on the 12th. Plattsburgh will head out on the road to square off against Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saranac is coming into the game with three straight wins at home, so Plattsburgh is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
