It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Cedar Park Timberwolves can now relate to. They were the victim of a tough 44-20 loss at the hands of the Tigers on Friday. Cedar Park's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Trae Hill and Ayden Arp certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Hill rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns, while Arp threw for 286 yards on 28 of 49 attempts.
Cedar Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for A&M Consolidated, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Cedar Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. A&M Consolidated will square off against Smithson Valley at TBD on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Smithson Valley: 12, A&M Consolidated: 16.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
