Big Spring had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Alpine Bucks by a score of 6-3 on Thursday.

RJ Gomez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Reynoso, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Big Spring's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Alpine, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Big Spring will square off against Rose of Sharon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alpine, they will challenge Sonora at 12:50 p.m. on Friday.
