After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leuzinger, Lennox Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy Aviators. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.
Valeria Lopez was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Lopez was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
