Casey-Westfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They didn't even let Neoga on the board, marking the Warriors' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 24 games by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Ava Goble, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Neoga off the board. Goble has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Casey-Westfield got a massive performance out of Anna Karras, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Karras has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gyllyane Gilbert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Martinsville had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 12-9 win over Dieterich on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Bluestreaks have beaten the Movin Maroons on their field since March 28, 2019.
The team relied heavily on Addi Adams, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Natalie Craig was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Casey-Westfield's record now sits at 30-3. As for Martinsville, their record is now 8-13.
Everything went Casey-Westfield's way against Martinsville when the teams last played back in May of 2019, as Casey-Westfield made off with a 10-0 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bluestreaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
