The Tecumseh Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Lincoln Railsplitters at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tecumseh, who comes in off a win.
Tecumseh is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Hanover-Horton by a score of 11-7 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.
KENNDAI FULTON spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Tecumseh let LAURA NADEAU and AUBREE BARKWAY run wild. NADEAU went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while BARKWAY went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave NADEAU a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of KASEY KETOLA, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Tecumseh lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Lincoln started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Chelsea. They lost 19-9 to the Bulldogs on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Railsplitters in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.
Ava Greene made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Autumn Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tecumseh, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Tecumseh was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
