Tuscaloosa County extended their losing streak  to eight  on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They had to suffer through  a    56-10 loss at the hands of the Vestavia Hills Rebels. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  42-3.
As for Vestavia Hills, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 39.2 points over those games.
 Vestavia Hills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Major Weaver, who rushed for 76 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. Those  76  rushing yards gave  Weaver a new career-high. Vestavia Hills also got a significant boost from  Noah Boylan, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.
