The Prairie View Thunderhawks won the last time they faced the Brighton Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Prairie View enjoyed a cozy 40-26 win over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back wins for Prairie View.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prairie View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paige Walker, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Walker has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Celicia Robles was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.
Prairie View now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Brighton, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Prairie View will be playing at home against the Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Loveland is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Brighton, they will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Erie presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bulldogs in Colorado (the Tigers are ranked 34th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 241st).
