The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hickory Ridge, who took down 29th ranked A.L. Brown, 63-42.
Cox Mill moved up to 92 from 133 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A South Piedmont. The Chargers climbed the ranks as a result of besting Robinson 23-22.
The Wonders' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Andrew Ramirez threw for 149 and two touchdowns and Kalif Phillips had 93 yards receiving. On the ground Phillips chipped in 218 yards. Johnny Delahoussaey helped A.L. Brown's passing attack out by catching two balls for 36 yards.
Concord's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. B.J. Beecher has thrown for 2126 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, while Alex Asbury has 27 catches for 904 yards. Rocky Reid leads the league in rushing with 1051 yards.
Asbury of the Concord's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 96 receiving yards in this week's game against the Ragin' Bulls to get there.
Hickory Ridge extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating A.L. Brown, 63-42. The win marks seventh in a row for the Marty Paxton's team.
